Coon Lake County Park is accessible via Lexington Avenue (Highway 17) in the City of Wyoming.  The park entrance is located in the southern portion of the park.

The 125 acre Coon Lake County Park offers a nice retreat from the city with it's rustic appearance and solitude.  A boat launch to Coon Lake provides anglers with an opportunity to catch many species of fish.

Description: The western picnic shelter in the park and closest to the main parking lot, boat launch, and lake.
Pavilion #2

Description: This picnic shelter is northeast of shelter #1 but close to the lake via hiking trails.

 

Directions

From Minneapolis: Interstate 35W north to the Lexington Avenue (Highway 17) exit.  Take Lexington Avenue north 13 miles to the park entrance.
From St. Paul: Interstate 35E north to Interstate 694 west.  Take 694 west to Interstate 35W north.  Take Interstate 35W north to the Lexington Avenue (Highway 17) exit.  Take Lexington Avenue north 13 miles to the park entrance.
From Coon Rapids, Anoka, Andover, Ramsey: Take Highway 242 (Main Street) east to Lexington Avenue (Highway 17).  Take Lexington Avenue north 10 miles to the park entrance.
